Placement Season 2009-2010

I took the one less travelled by

And that has made all the difference”

Final Placement

The placement philosophy of IWSB has been a bit different from that followed by the other B-Schools of the nation. At IWSB, the emphasis is laid strongly on developing entrepreneurial business managers rather than functional managers. The first placement season (2009-2010) was concluded with a diverse mix of companies participating in the same.

The recruiters of the first batch of IWSB included big names in the industry as well as young and fast growing companies. In spite of the economy freshly reviving from the impact of global meltdown, the average compensation offered to the first batch, a combination of fixed component, variable pay and stock options, has been `5.3 Lac with `11.45 Lac (CTC) being the highest salary offered.

Compensation at a Glance:

  • Highest CTC – 11.5 Lakhs p.a.
  • Laterals placement – Average CTC – 6.75 Lakhs p.a.
